What you need for this position:

- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
- Extensive training in Oracle 11g
- Weblogic suite products
- Languages: C, C++, Java, PHP, BPEL Java/Javascript/JSP
- Web Services (SOAP, WSDL), XML, JSF
- Oracle SOA Suite 11g
- Operating System: RedHat or other Linux Experience, MS Windows
- Database: Oracle 10 - 11, SQL, PL/SQL, T/SQL, SQL Server 2005, mySQL
- Strong Development Skills: BEA Weblogic Portal and Server
- Fluent in current Oracle 11g suite / system:
o Oracle - Weblogic Portal, Portlets Development
o Oracle - Weblogic Content Management
o Oracle - Weblogic Portal / Application Server Administration
o Oracle - Weblogic Development and Environment configuration
o JSR 168, JSF, AJAX, Pageflow, WSRP Portlets
o Nested Pageflows and Inter Portlet Communication (IPC)
o Content Management Repository, custom content types, data, workflow and Repositories. Oracle Database and file based repositories

o Experience in training and deploying tools to enable capable end users to customize portal desktops, content and look and feel.

Other Desired experience:

- Oracle application server, Apache Tomcat
- SAML based Authentication services
- Data processing and delivery for smartcards or other intelligent devices using web based applications / systems.
- 5 Plus years of experience working with (installing, maintaining and developing systems level applications on the above Oracle product suites)
- Desire and Ability to work effectively and contribute as part of a fast moving engineering team in an informal environment.
- Experienced in full SDLC (Software development life cycle) which includes System/Information Engineering, Software Requirements gathering, Systems Analysis and Design, Code Generation, Testing, implementation, maintenance and documentation.

What you ll be doing:

- Work as part of the engineering team in Newton, Ma or Orange County facility to design and develop an end to end system based on Oracle Weblogic Suite, web based applications, SOA workflows and Oracle databases. It will be necessary to interface with existing Oracle systems, Agile, eBusiness suite, Oracle & other database systems & legacy applications.
- Provide custom web based applications and UI for new products and service offerings, internal / outsourced manufacturing partners, OEMs and end users.
- Assist in the design feasibility demonstration & implementation of scalable workflow based systems for business use.
- Provide that all source code and system documentation will be adequately commented and archived utilizing the Seapine SCM system provided by our organization.
- Develop testing scripts, applications and procedures for QA and verification of the system modules. Using these tools the developer will work with engineering to verify complete system functionality, security, robustness and performance in various production environment scenarios.
Work with engineering and IT, to develop training materials and documentation appropriate for internal and external parties, for all applications.
- Assist in the transition of the portal and applications from the development / engineering environment to the IT production environment. Including enterprise system Configuration and Customization, system Testing, system Rollout and Technology Transfer/Handoff to IT

A Washington DC based IT consulting company working primarily with government agencies is in need of a senior level Oracle Database engineer with an active TS-SCI clearance.

If you are a Oracle Database Engineer or Oracle Database Developer with a TS/SCI clearance with professional services experience with companies like CACI, SAIC, IBM, BAE, SRA International, Booze Allen, Northrop Grumman, Praxis Engineering, Raytheon, General Dynamics, SGIS, CSC, Boeing, Halliburton, Bechtel Group, and others, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- 5+ years working with Oracle databases, most recently Oracle 10g/11g
- Experience with Oracle 10g/11g RAC, Oracle ASM, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle RMAN experience
- Performance tuning in an Oracle 10g environment.
- Solaris 9/10 experience
- Understanding of web services (SOAP, WSDL s) and XML schemas.
- Experience with data modeling and data migration

Oracle Functional Analyst Oracle functional analyst with the objective of leading and supporting the rollout of existing Oracle applications and building future enhancements. This is an excellent position for a self-motivated individual with strong functional and technical experience. This position will work closely with the Senior Technical and Functional staff in completing strategic development projects. There is no travel required for this position. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Be the lead resource for Oracle P2P (AP, Purchasing, iProcurement) etc. Be able to lead, design and deliver mid-sized projects Support the rollout of the existing P2P project implementation in Oracle 11i Develop a functional knowledge of the current Legacy application and assist the business users transition from Legacy to Oracle based applications. Participate in discussions with business users to understand, analyze business problems and lead towards viable business solutions. Identify and lead process improvement and other initiatives to support future growth and transition from Legacy systems. Assist and guide technical developers as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Targeting 6-8 years of software development/implementation experience. Targeting 5-7 years experience with configuration and setup of Oracle Applications 11i modules focused on ( AP, GL, Purchasing, iProcurement, XML Gateway, Inventory) Targeting 4-6 years experience implementing industry best practices to improve processes and solve business problems. Sound knowledge of the Oracle Applications 11i Framework and Technology stack. Strong functional knowledge of standard Oracle Workflows and Processes. Strong Experience in full life cycle development and SDLC methodologies. Strong analytical skills with experience in writing functional/technical specifications and process diagrams. Some experience with new implementations and also upgrades. Targeting 2 3 years experience designing interfaces, custom reports and conversions for Oracle Applications. Some project management experience. Ability to handle major cross-functional and cross-platform assignments with minimum supervision. Ability to operate and excel in a team oriented environment.
